HEXAGO P-A belongs to the HEXAGO acoustic series, developed in cooperation with specialists from AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. Its hexagonal geometry combines a perforated three-dimensional surface with acoustic function.
Laboratory testing confirms Sound Absorption Class A in accordance with EN ISO 11654 for HEXAGO P-A. For the documented test configuration, αw 0.95, NRC 0.95 and SAA 0.95 are stated. These values are not transferred as blanket claims to other HEXAGO variants or different mounting build-ups.
The documented build-up combines a perforated 3D front with a veneered wood or wood-based box, absorbing wool and an acoustic membrane. HEXAGO P-A is therefore not described as a solid-wood-only panel.
The current product specification lists oak, American walnut and ash, with hard-wax oil or varnish as finish options. Oak is offered in colour codes C01 to C06.

The 432 × 500 × 87 mm panel weighs 3.9 kg and combines a perforated three-dimensional wood surface with an acoustically active construction. Laboratory testing confirms Sound Absorption Class A in accordance with EN ISO 11654. This calculator uses the supplied manufacturer room-area-to-panel-count table. It deliberately does not calculate a fixed number of panels per m² of wall coverage.
Values between table points are linearly interpolated and rounded up to whole panels. Room geometry, surfaces, furniture, glazing and other factors influence reverberation; professional targets should be checked for the specific room.

The required panel count is not determined as a fixed number per square metre of wall area. Room-size planning guidance is available; room size, geometry, reflective surfaces, use and the intended reverberation target should be considered together for a project.
