Sculptural Solid Hardwood Wine Rack
The Ellipse: Elliptical Solid Wood Wine Rack for 4 Bottles by OWN Studio represents the perfect synthesis of exclusive functionality and minimalist object design. Every single wine rack is handcrafted in European workshops from selected hardwoods (Select Oak, Rustic Oak, or American Walnut). The design concept focuses on the harmonious, borderless elliptical geometry for presenting four bottles elegantly in compact spaces. As an official design partner, DEKOSTYL presents this premium wine rack not just as storage, but as a three-dimensional wooden sculpture. Here, an unconventional 3D panel aesthetic merges with the utility of secure bottle aging, setting it apart from standard wall shelves.
Thanks to the elegant combination of solid wood and refined metal elements, the Ellipse wine rack is ideal for representative rooms. Preferred applications include on kitchen islands, shelf niches, or as a stylish table gift for wine enthusiasts. Whether as a statement piece in a luxury dining area, an eye-catcher in upscale hotels, or a structural design element in a private wine lounge, the wine rack displays bottles at the ideal angle. For large-scale cellar layouts, multiple modules can be arranged in a grid or asymmetrically. This flexible layout permits architects to integrate the solid wood object alongside sound-absorbing Acoustic panels or geometric Pyramid finishes.
“The Ellipse piece elevates the room's atmosphere.”
For OWN Studio objects, certification and origin status for the solid timber used is documented on a product- and batch-specific basis. Available documentation can be provided on request for specific projects. The wooden surfaces are sanded by hand and finished with solvent-free hardwax oils. This enhances the natural grain patterns and shields the wood from humidity variations. The metal elements are constructed from premium steel, available in powder-coated Obsidian Black, Silver, or Brushed Gold, offering a modern contrast.
The Ellipse piece elevates the room's atmosphere. The blend of organic timber tones and modern metal details brings serene warmth and structured geometry to modern spaces. By tilting the bottles, the corks remain moist while the labels are visible in a gallery-like fashion. The premium wine rack functions as a functional work of art. In addition, the solid wood elements disperse sound waves, working as a natural diffuser similar to a textured 3D panel to support room acoustics.
For architects and interior designers, the Ellipse system offers great planning flexibility. High-resolution 3D BIM and CAD files in formats such as DWG, OBJ, and 3DM are available for direct download. We advise ensuring a solid wall structure (masonry or reinforced drywall) prior to mounting, as a fully loaded wine rack carries significant weight. The integrated brackets ensure invisible mounting and simple alignment. To create a cohesive spatial concept, this product can be combined with a decorative 3D panel, a faceted Pyramid pattern, or a certified Acoustic dampening array by DEKOSTYL.
Solid wood is a natural material that responds to room climate. To preserve the beauty of your wine rack, avoid placing it in direct sunlight or close to heaters. For regular cleaning, a dry, lint-free cloth is sufficient. Wipe away liquid spills immediately with a slightly damp cloth. After a few years of usage, the wooden parts can be treated with high-quality hardwax oil to restore their luxurious look.
