Acoustic Panels.

The perfect union of exceptional wood aesthetics and laboratory-certified sound absorption. Developed in close partnership with acoustic scientists.

Research & Development

Science Meets Space Design

Developed in close collaboration with acoustic engineers at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, our Hexago series sets new standards. Every module was tested in specialized chambers to achieve a perfect balance of broadband sound absorption and scattering. We replace clinical industrial foam with premium, three-dimensional solid wood art.

Absorption Class A (Broadband)

These models provide the highest acoustic performance, tested according to EN ISO 11654. They broadly absorb mid-to-high frequencies, eliminating flutter echoes in lobbies, executive workspaces, and theaters.

Absorption Class D & Diffusion

Ideal for spaces where a lively, natural soundscape should be preserved (e.g. music rooms, dining halls, residential open-plan spaces). They disperse sound reflections to balance conversational rooms.

Scientific Apex

HEXAGO P-AS Professional

The absolute pinnacle of integrated room acoustics. Equipped with interchangeable absorber cores hidden within a solid wood screen, it allows precise customization of attenuation values. A professional modular tool for studios, auditoriums, and media hubs.

Acoustic Wood Panels: Where Exquisite Design Meets Perfect Room Acoustics

In modern architecture, acoustically hard surfaces such as exposed concrete, glass facades, and purist floors often dominate. While visually striking, this frequently leads to acoustic issues: disruptive reverberation, poor speech intelligibility, and elevated noise levels significantly impair well-being. As the exclusive curator and distributor of high-end wall systems, we present a revolutionary synthesis of sculptural beauty and superior physical efficacy with the acoustic collections from Form at Wood. Our acoustic wall panels, particularly the modular Hexago system, prove that technical perfection does not have to come at the expense of room aesthetics. They are the perfect solution for sophisticated residential spaces, noble hotel lobbies, premium restaurants, conference rooms, and executive offices.

Scientifically Proven: Highest Class A Sound Absorption

Our acoustic panels are not mere decorative elements, but highly developed tools for targeted room acoustic conditioning. In close cooperation with the renowned AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, these modules were comprehensively tested in special anechoic sound chambers. The measurement results confirm outstanding performance: according to the strict international standard DIN EN ISO 11654, our acoustic modules achieve the highest absorption class A. This represents highly efficient sound absorption of over 90% in the speech-relevant frequency range. This peak performance is made possible by the intelligent construction: behind the elegant face of solid hardwood (oak, ash, or American walnut) lies a precisely perforated carrier system and a highly effective, ecological absorber core. This construction intercepts sound waves, guides them inside, and effectively converts the kinetic energy of the air particles into heat, instead of reflecting it back into the room as disruptive echo. This provides tangible relief for the ears and sustainably increases the ability to concentrate.

The Hexago System: Modular Flexibility for Discerning Sound Wave Control

The flagship of our acoustic portfolio is the Hexago system. Its hexagonal honeycomb structure allows architects and designers to create custom patterns on walls and ceilings. By alternating absorbing acoustic modules and three-dimensional, purely decorative solid wood modules (such as Hexago Egge or Flat), the acoustic behavior of a room can be precisely controlled. Instead of dampening the room excessively – which leads to an unnatural, "dead" acoustic – our systems enable a balanced combination of absorption and diffuse sound scattering (diffusion). This controlled guiding ensures a clear, warm sound image, optimizes speech intelligibility in meetings, and creates a relaxed atmosphere, even with high occupancy. Thus, private home theaters can be acoustically conditioned just as perfectly as busy open-plan offices.

Aesthetic Added Value Compared to Ordinary Foam Systems

Conventional acoustic solutions like open-pore foam, gray felt panels, or industrial perforated boards often appear misplaced and sterile in exclusive interiors. The solid wood acoustic panels by Form at Wood offer an elegant alternative. They radiate the natural warmth and value of real wood. Each Hexago module is manufactured with attention to detail, sanded by hand, and finished with ecological natural oils. As a result, the wood remains diffusion-open and actively contributes to a healthy indoor climate. The wall system integrates seamlessly into sophisticated lighting concepts and can also be equipped with LED backlighting. In this way, the acoustic technology disappears invisibly behind a wall sculpture of timeless elegance that delights both the eye and the ear, making the room an oasis of calm.

Sustainability and Healthy Living in Symbiosis

A key aspect of our acoustic solutions is the focus on building biology quality and sustainability. Since our panels are installed in spaces where people spend many hours – whether in the office or in the bedroom – we exclusively use materials that are completely safe for health. The absorbing core materials consist of recycled ecological fibers that are free of formaldehyde and chemical binders. The timber itself is treated with biological natural oils that release no harmful fumes. This not only guarantees premium acoustics but also supports a healthy, pollutant-free indoor climate, sustainably enhancing the quality of life.
